Of course we provide regular dental services such as fillings, crowns, bridges, root canal therapy, partial and full dentures, implant-supported partial and full dentures, extractions, TMJ therapy, gum treatment, periodontal plastic surgery, dental implants and braces (tradition and Invisalign). But the difference with our practice is Dr. Le has artistic training as well as dental training, and the combination is powerfully effective in cosmetic dental procedures.

Preventive Care Services and Gum Disease

We consider preventive dentistry an important aspect of our practice. That's why we check regularly for caries, periodontal disease and oral cancer. If we catch them in their early stages, treatment is fast and simple. We use laser therapy for treatment of some forms of gum disease. Doesn't that sound like a pleasant visit to the dentist?

Tooth-colored fillings-The only type of fillings we do. When properly executed, composite fillings can make teeth look like they have never had a cavity. An additional benefit is that these fillings contain no mercury, a health hazard.

Porcelain Veneers-A thin piece of porcelain bonded onto teeth to correct malalignment, change color, close space, reshape teeth and or gums, and straighten teeth. “Zoom” in-office whitening or home-bleaching trays - As in the “Extreme Makeover” show, the “Zoom” machine is what we rely on to give you that immediate satisfaction of a whiter and more dazzling smile within one hour. However, we can also custom fabricate home bleaching trays for your home use at your convenience to augment and maintain the brilliance of your smile.

Dental Implants

There are so many benefits to implants. Let’s first discuss what they are. Think of implants as Titanium roots that replace missing teeth’s function, appearance while preserving your jaw bone, preventing gum shrinkage, and unnecessary cutting of healthy adjacent teeth for bridges.

Types of Implants

Fixed: This type is for replacement of single or multiple missing teeth. At the end of

treatment, you will have teeth that look, feel and function like your own and they will

not decay.

Removable: This type is for replacement of complete loss of teeth in one, or both

jaws. If you have been having to endure loose dentures, you can now have solid

implant-supported dentures that will stay in your mouth, allow you to chew much

better, laugh and smile without having to worry about your denture coming loose, and,

last but not least, put away that denture adhesive! With advanced planning, many

cases can be done in the same day. In other words, you come in with loose teeth, and

come out in a couple hours with teeth that will stay in! Often times, if your existing

dentures are still good, we can modify them to fit with the implants, thus saving you

time and money.

Why us? With his advanced training in both implant placement and restoration at the

University of Texas at San Antonio Dental School, as well as, at the world-renowned

Misch International Implant Institute (website: www.mish.com), Dr. Le is among the

the small number of dentists in the United States who can both place and restore

implants. This will not only save you money, but time as well. You, as a patient, will

not have to go see an oral surgeon or a periodontist to have the implants placed, and

then go to another dentist to have them restored!

What’s the hurry? Once teeth are lost, your jaw bone and gum will shrink! As a

consequence, your remaining teeth will shift causing possible joint and gum

problems, compromising chewing ability and, therefore, your nutritional intake

and health. As time goes on, even if you wanted to have implants, you may have to go

through costly additional procedures to regrow the necessary bone for support of the

implants.

Do they hurt? You may have some minor discomfort the first day or two. However,

Dr. Le takes pride in being able to place implants with the utmost care and gentleness.

As a result, after-surgery discomfort is greatly reduced since trauma is minimized.

Do they cost a lot? Implants are not cheap, only loose plastic teeth are! In the long

run, they will be cheaper because they can last a long time, help preserve your jaw

bone and give you the quality of life of a healthy mouth, instead of a disabled one!

Orthodontics (Traditional and Invisalign)

Invisible braces are computer-designed clear, removable retainers used to straighten out teeth without resorting to traditional metal braces. This is a perfect solution for actors, models, professionals or anyone who does not want people to know you are wearing braces.

Our facility is computerized and filled with technological wonders, such as digital x-ray, which allows us to take x-rays with low radiation, and lasers, which allow us to bleach your teeth in record time and perform gum surgery painlessly. Our facility is also equipped with CAD-CAM, which allows us to make crowns in a single-visit, and virtual-reality glasses, which allows you to watch a movie while we perform dentistry.
